All Koolsun's fabrics are designed and knitted to their exacting specifications.
All Koolsun's fabrics are tested under laboratory conditions and given an Ultraviolet Protection rating.
All have achieved the maximum rating of 50+ which means that they will filter out 98% of the sun’s UVA and UVB rays. A wet T-shirt can filter out as little as 4%.
A variety of fabrics is used in Koolsun's garments to offer mothers a wider choice. Experience has shown that many mothers will not buy their children sun suits at all; purely because they feel a nylon/lycra all-in-one suit will be hot and uncomfortable to wear and difficult to get on and off. Koolsun have therefore chosen all their sun protection fabrics
from a mother’s point of view.
KoolSun's Sun Protection clothing is comfortable, fashionable and practical. The baby suits have crotch poppers for easy nappy changing, and the rash vests are made from chlorine resistant fabrics that will not perish in chlorinated pools.
